We have been on the road for 4 weeks out of the last… 4 weeks. Ha! It’s good to finally be home. We were up in Nashville, TN for a little over a week for some family time with Shayna’s family and we shot a wedding at the Hermitage Hotel. Then we traveled down to Tifton, GA for a week full of shoots and a wedding at First Baptist Church. Then we hit the road to Hilton head for a portrait session. After that we traveled down to Fernandina, Florida for a unique “Fairy Tale” photo shoot with our niece. We wound up staying at the Florida House Inn which is a little known secret hidden on 3rd Street in historic downtown Fernandina. We were told that it is one of the oldest hotels in the United States. Wyatt Earp and his crew have made the use of the comfortable rooms at this quaint inn on more than one occasion. Due to an emergency with one of our family members during our time on the road, I must say that is was one of the hardest times of my life. God taught us a lot about self sacrifice and unconditional love. Now that we’re home I do feel a little stir crazy. I am looking forward to enjoying the comforts we have until we hit the road again in a few weeks. We’ll have some of the photos from our journeys uploaded soon.
