Winners of the SouthernMamas.com Mothers Day Giveaway.

The Aultman’s were the winners of the SouthernMamas.com Mothers day giveaway. Click Here for the official blog entry at SouthernMamas.com. We had such a wonderful time getting to know the Aultman’s and their sweet family. We met them down at River Street and hung out in the alleys and parks near by. The kids were wonderful! Shayna and Anna Leigh got to do girl stuff with the tutu while me and Brian did some man stuff with Bryson. Bryson was very chill and reminded me a lot of Linden. He was just taking it all in as Anna Leigh had fun running around pretending to be Cinderella. It was a fairy tail ending for the Aultman’s who had never had “Professionally” taken photos before. Suzanne is actually the family photographer so it was nice for her to get the chance to be in the photos for once. We totally know how that is. We have to set up the tripod to have our family photos done. Ha! Oh yeah and if you’re ever at the Oglethorpe Mall go get some Chick-fil-a and say high to Brian – He is the owner and is there most of the time. YUM-YUM I love Chick-fil-a! I guess that wraps it up here are some shots from our session with the Aultman’s. Please enjoy.

-Matt

Hart and Frances – Childrens Session

We had the pleasure of meeting Anne Hart from SouthernMamas.com “A source for savvy moms in Savannah, the Lowcountry, and beyond”. Anne started SouthernMamas.com nine months after her son, Hart, was born. Anne longed for one resource to find everything the Savannah-Bluffton/Hilton Head Is. area had to offer her kids. We had the wonderful opportunity to capture her beautiful children in an outdoor natural setting. I took on Hart her 2 year old son as Shayna spent time with Frances her 5 month old. Hart and I had so much fun. He ran around the park checking out flower beds, trees and rolling around in the grass. I got him laughing with the threat of a tickle fight but he was too quick and constantly on the move. Shayna got some great shots of Frances lying in the grass with her pink sun dress and sun bonnet. Anne kept asking us if it was always this easy, she was prepared to pull teeth to get Hart to sit still and smile. We assured her that 90% of our sessions with kids are usually very easy for the parents. We’re almost like hiring babysitters to take pictures of your children. We run around with the kids while you get to relax and enjoy the beautiful weather. All in all we had a wonderful time getting to know our new friends and we can’t wait until we get to play again. Here are some of our favorite shots from the photo shoot.

Infant Portrait Session – Tifton, Ga

This is another infant portrait session that we did in February. Casen is such a cutie. I have actually known Zach (his father) forever. Our family used to car pool with Zach’s family when we went to elementary school together at Omega Elementary. We also met Sarah recently when we shot her sister’s wedding. So it was a very chill photo session with Casen. He has the most beautiful blue eyes! He also had such a wonderful personality and Zach knew exactly what to do to get him laughing. Casen’s favorite book is Goodnight Moon which just so happens to be Linden’s favorite book too. We got some great shots of Casen that I know Zach and Sarah will cherish forever. Here are a few of our favorites.

Infant Portrait Session

In February we took Brayden’s infant photos. Brayden is the son of proud parents Allen and Heather. This was a fun session with Brayden because he was so expressive. He loved sticking his tongue out and was full of giggles. Allen really knew how to bring out his personality. I always love it when a dad is so involved and you can tell by the way Brayden responded that he loved his daddy. Heather is such a good mommy too. Brayden loved being in his mommy’s arms. He also loved being swaddled up tight in his blanket. Here are some of the photos from our time with Allen, Heather, and Brayden.
