Thanks everyone for your kind words for our baby boy. We are so excited to be parents and we appreciate all your comments. Monday was my first day back at the office and things are a little backed up. But we should be caught up soon.

We wanted to take this time to let you know we have officially launched our Christmas seasonal specials. We have some great Christmas packages that we have put together for you. Also we have redesigned our website to reflect the coming season. There are some important things that we need to make sure that you are aware of: ALL PHOTO ORDERS THAT NEED TO ARRIVE FOR CHRISTMAS MUST BE ORDERED BY NOVEMBER 31ST. Anything ordered after November 31st is not guaranteed to make it by Christmas. We will still be working during December but photos taken in the month of December will not arrive until January of 2009.

So, if you are planning on having Christmas photos, now is the time to schedule your Mini-Session with Taproot Photography. We have some great specials where you can save over $200. We will be posting more information on the locations of the Mini-Sessions very soon. We have 3 different locations picked out for 3 different days and each photo shoot will be on a Saturday morning. The dates are Sat, Nov. 1st, from 8:00 am to 12 pm – Sat, Nov. 8th, from 8:30 am to 11 am – and Sat, Nov 15th, from 9 am to 12 pm. The shoots will be a “Mini” version of our normal photo shoot. The Mini-Sessions will last between 20 and 30 minutes and will be much more focused than our typical photo shoot. You will still be able to schedule a full session – photo shoot if you are more interested in the complete package. One location will be in a beautiful garden with a small pond and an island with a small bridge. One location will be down town Tifton, this will be more of an urban style. And we are still working on the third location. We will have an update shortly. We appreciate your feedback, and if you have any questions please let us know.

Shayna was feeling better today and I wanted us to get some photos of her and Linden so we decided to do some family photos. Shayna’s mom used to be into photography years ago, so I went through a quick refresher course and she was our photographer for the day. She did a great job. It was fun to be in front of the camera for once. So please enjoy these photo of our newly created family.

Yesterday was our first full day at home. Of course we are exhausted but it is SO worth it everytime we get to look into our beautiful baby’s eyes. It was fun to try on some of his different outfits. We had a little photo shoot with Linden last night. He was a little camera shy but he did a great and we had such a blast.  We can’t believe how blessed we are to have such a healthy wonderful baby.  Please continue to pray for Shayna’s recovery.  We hope that you enjoy these photos from Lindens 4th day.

Well we got home from the hospital yesterday. We are so glad to be home. We had some great nurses taking care of us. Last night was a sleepless night. Between feeding, changing, burping, and then starting the cycle over we didn’t get much sleep. Thankfully Shayna’s mom is staying with us for the first week. She was very helpful and relieved us this morning allowing a couple extra hours of sleep. Here are some photos of our journey home. Baby Linden’s Pops and Great-Grandma finally got to hold him. He also got to wear his Minnetonka Moccasins from his Nana and B-paw. We will be doing a photo shoot of our baby boy today so don’t miss those photos coming up tomorrow.
