Our Town – Tifton Magazine – Photo Shoot

We are so honored to be a part of the new Tifton magazine called “Our Town”. For the cover shoot we spent some time with the Jones family of Jones Construction. What a wonderful family! We had such a good time getting to know them, hear the stories of their childhood, and learn of the heritage and tradition that makes this family so special. We don’t want to give the story away so enjoy these photos and look for the magazine to come out sometime in August!

Jeremy showing that he has still got the moves.

Well, what can you say? Like father, like son.

Rainy lake

We had big plans to head out to Lake Blackshear, and as soon as we got there it started raining! But luckily Gigi just got a new pimped out mini-van or the “gran-van” as we call it, and we hung out in the car and watched SNL best of Will Ferrell DVD! The rain eventually stopped and we were all able to get on the boat and go for a ride. We all had fun looking for aligators, riding the waves, snacking on moon pies and exploring the waters.

Beware… Water Scorpion!

Little Miracle

Every baby is special, but this baby is truly a miracle. We were blessed to be able to spend time with baby Nate and his family. We were touched and amazed by their story. Nate and his mother surpassed all odds, and it was a precious gift to be with them.

Kittens and Kicks

Kittens are just so cute! Rhama (Matt’s niece) has a cat who’s name is Apple Dumplings (Yes that is the name that Ramah gave the poor kitty), and “Apple” as we call her, just had a litter of kittens last week. They still haven’t fully opened their eyes, and spend most of the day napping and nursing. We had fun doing our first newborn “kitten” photo shoot! We spent the whole day with our family and tried to stay cool by splashing water on each other. Rhama found some baby frogs near the pond, and our nephew Judah really had a blast play-fighting with his uncle Matt. We even got to enjoy some good home cookin’ for dinner. It was a such a fun Saturday.

And all the cat lovers said… “Awe…..”

Judah was serious about soaking his sister.
