Lunch with the Hobbs gang

We had lunch today with Jeremy and Leah (Matt’s Brother and Sister-in-law) and Andy and Dena (Matt’s Cousins). The kids were running around and causing a scene in El Cazador. It was fun to imagine what it’s going to be like when our son joins the Hobbs crew.

Playgrounds and make-believe

You know when you meet a child for the first time and they just steal your heart? Well, that’s what Emma did to us. From her sweet little voice and golden curls, to her funny faces and painted toe nails; we just loved photographing Emma. Matt, her daddy was a big help in getting her to laugh a lot, by pretending to be a tiger or a monster. Emma was so playful, and fun. She even pretended to grab Mommy and Daddy’s nose and run off with them! We all had a blast swinging, playing house, climbing in a castle, blowing bubbles, and chasing tigers. These are some of our favorites from an excellent photo shoot with Matt, Nikki, and Emma.

We told Emma we had bubbles and she ran across the entire playground leaving Matt and Nikki in the dust…

We’re growing…

The miracle of life is happening right now inside Shayna’s tummy. As the stages progress, we get closer and closer to the day when we will meet our little boy. It’s noticeable now. Despite the odd looks she gets from strangers, she’s happy with her bulging belly. Matt thinks it’s cute. It’s been fun for us to feel the kicking, flipping and hiccuping going on there. It’s true, our son will be the most photographed child in the universe. He’s already getting some practice! Here they are… the long awaited belly pics.
