We made it to Nashville, Tn.

Last night we stayed with my brother Ben and his wife Elle in Lookout Mountain, Ga (Near Rock City). They just had their beautiful daughter – Soren Ember Hobbs – 2 weeks ago. It was the first time that we had all seen each other since we had our children so it was quite a reunion. Soren is SO beautiful and it was great to finally get to hold her. I don’t know if it is because she is a girl or because she is half Lindens size but she seemed so much more delicate than Linden – like a porcelain doll. We had such a great time with Ben and Elle. Here are a handful of the shots, if you want to see more click here.

Here is another massive blog.

We really do like to blog about each photo shoot individually. But due to time constraints and the fact that we want you to see what we’ve been up to… this will be another mass blog of some of our most recent work. We hope that you enjoy. We will be in Nashville, Tn from the 22nd through the 30th and will be back the following Monday December the 1st. We will be completing all the design Items that have been ordered over the last month. I know that we are behind schedule on some of your orders and we appreciate your patience as we catch up. Not to worry we will have all orders in a couple weeks before Christmas. Enjoy these photos and pray for a safe trip to Nashville as we journey tomorrow.

Blessings,

Matt.

Our New Website!

Well I haven’t slept in a week. Ha! Seriously. It has been about a week. We have been working so hard to take care of all our wonderful clients, and our baby, and create a wonderful new online world of Taproot Photography for you. We hope that you are already enjoying our new website. We told you that we had Big plans for you. Well now you can view all of your favorite images in FULL SCREEN! The first time you go through the website it will take a little longer for everything to load so please be patient. But after that each visit should be quicker. As the images are stored in your cache on your computer they will load faster on our website. Ok, now that the technical jargon is out of the way. Ha! So we have music, we have slideshows, we have videos, does the word (fresh.) come to mind. We hope so, because we are doing everything we can to keep our site fresh and new for you. If the music gets annoying you can easily control all of the sound from the jukebox. You will notice a spinning record in the bottom right hand corner of the new site. If you click on the record it will mute the sound. You can also browse though the tunes. We hope that you enjoy our selection of music. Please check out the bands and buy their cds. (They would love that.)  If you have any questions or you see that we have mipselled something please let us know. ;-) You can get in touch with us through the contact link on the new website. We will be blogging some of the incredible photos that we have been taking, so check back soon to see the freshness.

Thanks for taking time to come by and visit us. We’ll see you soon.

-Matt
