My dad, Bill Miller, has always been an excellent musician in my eyes because he’s my dad. I remember thinking that my dad wrote “Blackbird”. He used to sing that song to me as a lullaby when I was little. As I got older I heard the Beatles play that song on the radio and I remember thinking, “Hey they totally ripped my dad off!”. So this year, my dad won a Grammy for Native American Album of the year. This is his third Grammy. Of course I am very proud of him, but most of all I am really proud of the father he is to me and my four younger siblings, the husband he is to my mom, the grandfather he is to our child and the relationship that we share. These are some shots we took of him at a beautiful overlook here in Franklin, TN at sunset. It’s so easy to take pictures of my dad mostly because of his great sense of humor. We were all cracking up in most of these shots. We love you dad! Many blessings to you in life and your career!
